Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data BuyBee.store ("we") collects when you use buybee.store and the stores hosted on it, why we collect it, and your choices.

What we collect

• Store owners: name, mobile number, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and the store details you enter (business name, address, logo, products).
• Shoppers: when you place an order or enquiry in a store, the name, mobile number, email (optional), delivery address and message you type.
• Technical data: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie needed to keep you signed in and protect forms, plus standard server logs (IP address, browser, time) kept for security.
• Website analytics: on our own marketing pages (not inside stores or dashboards) we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can improve it. Clarity sets its own cookies and is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We do not ask for or store card numbers, UPI PINs, OTPs or bank passwords. We never ask you to share an OTP. Payments, if any, happen directly between the shopper and the store.

How we use it

• To run your account and store, and to pass orders and enquiries to the store you contacted.
• To send service emails (for example, order notifications the store owner switched on).
• To keep the platform secure and to stop fraud and abuse.

We do not sell personal data. Each store's customers and orders are visible only to that store's owner and to our administrators when needed to provide support or investigate abuse.

Sharing

Data is processed by our hosting and email providers only to run the service. When you tap "Send on WhatsApp", your order text is opened in your own WhatsApp app; that message is then governed by WhatsApp's own terms.

Retention and your rights

We keep account data while the account is active and delete or anonymise it within a reasonable time after closure, unless the law requires us to keep it. You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to support@buybee.store.
